“We have to bring children into a new relationship to food that connects them to culture and agriculture.”
Healthier Together! Is your school ready?
The future is built upon the habits we help our young people form today. This year, Mother Earth Produce Delivery began partnering with local schools to help nurture a healthy lifestyle that includes locally grown produce and edibles. Our goal is to strengthen real food awareness by creating opportunities for schools to raise funds for healthy snacks and edible education objectives.

Who We Are
Mother Earth Produce Delivery is a family owned, year-round delivery service of local & organic produce and edibles sourced from area farms and food crafters. We partner with local farms and food artisans to bring sustainable vegetables, meats, dairy, eggs, bread and pantry items to western North Carolina and Upstate South Carolina. We make it simple and affordable to eat fresh and healthy local food all year long. In essence, we bring a farmers market to your door!

How It Works
Mother Earth Produce will donate $3 fair trade retail for each order placed, per week. This will benefit the students in the afterschool program in the form of local, organic apples, peaches, carrots, pears, Roots Hummus and Happy Cow Cheese, to name a few items. In other words if 20 families order in a week, Mother Earth Produce will donate $60 in edibles to the afterschool program.
To participate in this partnership, we ask that interested families register at www.motherearthproduce.com. Under “How did you hear about us?” enter school name (once partnership is established). This is what allows us to track the number of orders per school per week.
We'll deliver your order to your home on your delivery day, ready to feed the family. Unlike a traditional CSA, we do not require a contract or commitment. You can order the upcoming harvest OR customize your produce order and/or add sustainable vegetables, meats, dairy, eggs, bread, pantry items, and prepared meals. Bonus! Each week we write a FREE meal plan to match the upcoming harvest, helping you utilize all of the produce in fun & nourishing ways.
Why Should I Choose Mother Earth Produce Delivery?
Beyond the direct benefits to the school, we know that many of you have a lot going on, and going from the farmer’s market to the grocery store, or tending to a garden may be an ideal, but not always practical. Conscientious consuming is a casualty of a busy lifestyle...but does it have to be? We don’t think so.
While the combination of Earth-centered, sustainable farming practices and online grocery shopping seems like an unlikely duo; we have found that by leveraging technology and implementing efficient delivery systems, we are able to increase the reach of the farmer, and nearly eliminate the need for the consumer to go to the grocery store. Talk about convenient!
Ordering with Mother Earth Produce Delivery supports 50+ farmers & food artisans in a way that sustainably engages the Appalachian Foodshed AND helps you consume fresh, local, organic produce regularly. It helps create greater awareness/demand for local produce and fill in food insecurity gaps right in our community. Our service saves time, money and reduces an overall carbon footprint.
We'd love to hear from you!
The positive impact of local farming only grows stronger when we work together.
